Texas, Maryland
Irish immigrants came to Texas and settled in south Texas at about the same time a group of Irish immigrants from Western Ireland came to Baltimore County. They named the town ” Texas” Maryland. But why? They arrive around 1847 and none had been to the United States and certainly not Texas. I aim to find the answer!
