When I Googled ‘is EIN Presswire a scam the Al generate response said this:
Self-Published Content: Users can publish their own press releases on EIN Presswire, which could lead to the dissemination of potentially inaccurate or promotional content.
Reddit made these two comments:
“Google took a while to catch up to the spam, it seems. Last year if you sent out a release on EIN, and googled the company, many of the release postings would be in the results. Now it doesn’t show even one of them. I’ve told my firm it’s no longer worth the price. Even though it’s literally $50. It’s worthless if the release gets 0 visibility.”
“EIN network is a network of fake news sites that Google doesn’t index. That’s sadly quite standard in the press release distribution industry and even some of the big players include EIN in it’s distribution (but its really just a vanity metric to show more pick-up – but doesn’t produce a tangible result).”
“The other thing to know about a lot of these less expensive press releases, (like EIN) the press release may be hosted on the primary site for a while, but the reposts disappear pretty quickly (along with the links), and become all but invisible on Google News Search.”
