Blue Genie Art Bazaar May Market, Now – May 31, 2025 (Fridays – Sundays only, plus Memorial Day) 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Blue Genie Art Bazaar (6100 Airport Boulevard).  Blue Genie Art Bazaar announces the return of its sixth annual May Market this spring. The local arts and shopping experience will take place every weekend from May 1 through May 31, Fridays through Sundays, as well as Monday, May 25, on Memorial Day.

Similar to the long-running annual holiday Bazaar, May Market is a free, family-friendly event featuring the work of nearly 200 regional artists and artisans under one roof. ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ at ZACH Theater, Now – May 31st. ZACH Theater (202 South Lamar). ZACH Theater will present the Tony Award-winning musical “Dear Evan Hansen” from April 8 through May 17 at The Topfer at ZACH. Directed by Producing Artistic Director Dave Steakley with musical direction by Allen Robertson, the production follows a socially anxious teenager whose attempt to belong leads to a life-changing deception. Ice Age in the Wild, Now – August 15. Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center (4801 La Crosse Ave. ) The Wildflower Center will soon be transformed into an Ice Age landscape! Travel back in time and meet 15 gigantic mammals – including a 17,500-pound woolly mammoth – that have come out of extinction to stomp around our gardens. It’s been thousands of years since these massive creatures roamed the earth. As you move through the gardens, you’ll get a glimpse of what that world was like.


 

 

Touch the Art Experience, Now – July 5, 2026, ART Gallery at Canopy (916 Springdale Rd, Bldg 2 #101). This is the one art show where touching everything is not just allowed, it’s encouraged — that’s the whole point! Almost Real Things’ 4th annual Touch the Art Experience transforms the gallery into a fully immersive, all-senses installation featuring work from 83 artists, including collaborating students from the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

The Grand Opening on Friday kicks things off with live music, themed drinks, and interactive sound sculptures.
