Pat Noone’s Fairy Farm:
Fairies, she-wolves, and fertility stones and strange tales from a hidden Ireland.
Our host who is an amazing healer and storyteller – Pat Noone will welcome us to his farm with a warm Irish welcome and guide us onto his hallowed ground. This includes a standing stone, also called a menhir, orthostat, or lith and is a large upright stone, placed in the ground by humans, typically dating from the European middle Bronze Age. They can be found individually as monoliths, or as part of a group of similar stones.
There is also a fertility stone or, Sheela na Gig on the privately owned property. On our walk through this enchanted farm there is also a 3900 to 3500 BC cairn, built as a place of gathering and ritual. Finally, into the fairy field. Where we will experience a portal between worlds. It is within a grove of hawthorn trees where the Fairies come and go. It truly is a magical place.
One of the longest continually inhabited Castles in Ireland, Leap Castle has a rich and fascinating history. Leap Castle is thought to have been built in the early 1500s by the O’Bannon clan. The O’Bannon clan were the secondary chieftains under the ruling of the O’Carroll clan. Originally, the site was used by Druids for initiation ceremonies. The castle has been home to much bloodshed and violence over the centuries as well has heroic triumphs. We will conduct a paranormal investigation on the privately owned property.
The Elemental is one of the most interesting spirits that reside at Leap Castle. It is an entity that is shrouded in mystery and intrigue. The first encounter, origin, and exact nature of the Elemental are unknown but many theories have circulated over the years.
Two young girls have also been seen at Leap Castle. Emily & Charlotte. Emily is thought to be aged around 11 or 12 and Charlotte around 6 or 7. They are mainly seen playing in the main hall and running up the stairwell. They are believed to have lived at the castle during the 1600’s and are thought to be the last of the O’Carroll’s or the first of the Darbys. These are just two examples of spirits in this ancient location. The owner, Sean Ryan will tell you all the stories and his experiences, and he might just play a few tunes for you too.
