Tour guide Maverick was telling his stories about the Wooten Building last weekend when his phone started to play the song “Hurry Up This Way Again” a song by the Stylistics. A song and band he had never heard before and therefore was not on a playlist or anything like that. We have not been going to the Wooten Building recently. That particular building has often communicated with us.
These are the lyrics to the song Hurry Up This Way Again by the Stylistics:
Oh, how it hurts loving someone who has someone else
So many nights I’ve spend here all alone by myself
Whenever you’re with him, whose loving me, nobody
Hurry up this way again, I love you, hurry up this way again
I’ll never know when I’m going to see you again
Can’t make no plans, I just see you whenever I can
What happens in between, I sit and dream about you
Hurry up this way again, I love you, hurry up this way again
So many lives I spend here all alone
I love you, hurry up this way again
I need you, I want you, I don’t want nobody else
Hurry up this way again, I love you
I’ve gotta have you
I’ve gotta have you now, I need you
